Meditation Hall
“The mind is by nature restless. Begin liberating it from its restlessness; give it peace;
make it free from distractions; train it to look inward; make this a habit.”
—Talks with Ramana Maharshi
The meditation hall sits quietly among the oak-covered hills and meadows
that stretch out to meet the distant landscape. This sacred space was envisioned and created as a haven for inner stillness—a sanctuary where silence itself becomes the teacher. Inside, the hall’s atmosphere is one of calm and simplicity, with natural light filtering through large windows. A variety of seating arrangements allow each visitor to find a comfortable posture to support their personal practice.
Open daily to the public, the Meditation Hall welcomes individuals
who seek solitude, clarity, or quiet communion with oneself. The morning and evening sessions also offer an invitation for visitors to resonate with the profound poetic verses composed by Sri Ramana Maharshi. The Kendram maintains a light schedule throughout the day, inviting visitors to take part in whatever way feels right for them.
